Spa salt grotto
Relaxation for body and spirit. Welcome to the newly opened Salt Grotto!
It is here that we cultivate and develop the traditional method of salt inhalation treatment, whose roots date back to the 19th century.
One session in the Spa Salt Grotto equals relaxation for body and spirit. Its unique microclimate is created by a mixture of different types of salt, mainly Himalayan crystalline salt and Połczyńska brine. In addition to the feeling of deep rest and relaxation, a visit to the grotto also benefits our health. This is because salt inhalations have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic effects. A session in the grotto has a beneficial effect on the respiratory, nervous and circulatory systems.
Complementing our grotto is a graduation tower that enhances the inhalation effect.
Birch whisks were used to build the tower, while the inhalation effect is achieved through the use of the Kłodawska brine. The pleasant sound of brine flowing over the whisks allows for total relaxation and soothes the senses.
Clean air and proper inhalation in the grotto room is guaranteed by the halogenerator technology, a medical device that additionally sprays salt in the grotto.
This salt aerosol generator crushes salt and sprays it during the session. This is particularly important for inhalation performance, as the microparticles maintain their highest activity for only about 100 seconds after the salt is crushed.
Sessions in the Spa Salt Grotto are recommended mainly for ailments related to the respiratory system, including sinusitis, allergic diseases, but also perfectly relieve neuroses, the effects of stress or exhaustion. They bring benefits to the body, providing it with the right dose of micronutrients.
Contraindications to salt sessions include tuberculosis, advanced cancer, hyperthyroidism, iodine allergy and acute respiratory infection.
